Radiologist

The radiologist plays a fundamental role in patient care. They are the ones who analyze radiological images to detect and diagnose diseases such as cancer, whether it is during an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), a CT (computed tomography) scan, an ultrasound, a mammogram or an X-ray. 

The radiologist also practices interventional radiology where they treat different diseases and causes of pain using one of the methods mentioned above.
